Grand Final and the Final Concert of Jazz Ex Tempore will be held on Thursday, 18th November starting at 9PM in Villa Angiolina, Opatija. Project Manager Elvis Stanic, this year has invited two excellent Macedonian musicians, brothers, Diran and Garo TAVITJAN and Jamaican bassist Alvis Reid. Special guest will be an extraordinary young singer - Natasa Tonkovic. Tickets for the price of 50.00 HRK can be purchased at Villa Angiolina, an hour before the concert (from 8 PM).

Jazz Ex Tempore is a 6th meeting of the significant world-jazz artists from several countries which compose, rehearse and play along the new and original repertoire during a one-week event. Each of them brings their own traditional music idioms and original compositions, that are going to be explored together, interactively rearranged, rehearsed, and performed at the end of the meeting - 20th od November in Villa Angiolina at 8 PM.

Opatija's Musical School "Mirkovic" will, from 24th to 31st October, host one of the leading names in the area of violin pedagogy, prof. Yovka Yordanov, a professor at the Central Music School in Moscow, which is part of the famous Central Conservatory PI Tchaikovsky.

The Acoustic Project ensemble was founded by two members of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orhestra: flutist Renata Penezić, and double bass player Dubravko Palanović. Incentive to found the ensemble came from their interest in unusual sound combinations, and exploration of new possibilities in sound by combining seemingly incongruous instruments. The ensemble promotes the composers of the 20th and 21st centuries, and aims to encourage and inspire Croatian composers to experiment with the sound. Each concert is a new beginning, a new idea, a new experiment - a new acoustic project.

The Dominant Quartet rightly holds one of the leading roles among the young generation of musical ensembles in Russia. It was founded at the Gnessin Music Academy in Moscow in 1995 under the professorship of Valentin Berlinsky, the cellist of the world famous Borodin Quartet.
