The exhibition "Colors in me" by Claudia Tessitori is open from Saturday, 2nd of April to Tuesday, 12th of April in the gallery Opatijski portun. Painter exhibits works created by technique of acrylic on canvas, mixed media, painted chairs and artefacts for everyday use.

From Tuesday 22nd March to Friday 25 March 2011 visitors to the Villa Angiolini have the opportunity to see the exhibition "Transcape" by Slovenian artist Gabrijela Fužir. The objects are realized in textile technique of air lace. This is a technique of sewing the material that dissolves in water, and the finished product are threads floating in the air.
The museum is open every day except Monday from 10am to 6pm.
Organized by the Croatian Museum of Tourism on Thursday, 10th of March 2011. in Art pavilion "Juraj Sporer" in Opatija, starting at 19.30 pm will open an exhibition of illustrations by Cvijeta Job and Zdenko Balabanic. The exhibition will be open until 10th of April 2011.

The exhibition by Kresimir Zimonić "Comics and Illustrations", organized by the Croatian Museum of Tourism opens on Friday, 14th January in Art pavilion "Juraj Sporer" Opatija, at 19.30.
Krešimir Zimonić was born in 1956. He started making animated films professionally in 1979. and from 1981 has a free lance artist status. In 2002 he started teaching at the Academy of fine arts in Zagreb, section for animation and multimedia. Four of his comic book collections have been published, he illustrated cca. twenty book covers, he is an author of numerous posters, catalogues, articles about comic books and animation. He is one of the founders and a president of the Croatian Comic Book Society. He is a board member of ANIMAFEST – World festival of animated films, held in Zagreb every two years.

The 1st Istrian Provincial Exhibition, organized by the Croatian Museum of Tourism can be seen at Art pavilion "Juraj Sporer" in Opatija, from Wednesday, 22nd of December. Although no particular artistic, historical photographs have enormous documentary value, illustrating the cultural, economic and social life of Istria, the century ago.

The exhibition created through collaboration Učka Nature Park and the colony of Austrian painters who call themselves painters of protected areas or the so-called painters of "Environmental movement" whose artistic activities they want to contribute to the promotion and protection of natural beauty. In addition to works created in the Nature Park Učka, the exhibition will present works produced in the largest of the Central European National Park - Austria's Hohe Tauern National Park.
