Opatija brings together the best companies specializing in handling fireworks to realize a special event - FIREWORKS FESTIVAL Opatija 2010.
The event starts at 21:00 on the beach Slatina where they will start musical program with the band and DJs. On the pontoon at a distance of hundred meters from the shore the fireworks will be made at 22.00, 23.00 and 24.00, The program is intended to end around 01.00.

Every first weekend in July, Opatija lives through jazz. Every year more than 4000 visitors from the entire Croatia, but even from other countries in the region, make their pilgrimage to the Liburnia Jazz Festival. According to the level of recognition, number of concerts and visitors, the Liburnia Jazz Festival, founded in 2001, is definitely the largest jazz festival in Croatia and the region. Besides the concerts of top world artists on the Summer Stage, the Festival's off-programme, the so called Street Jazz, is held on seven locations in the city from the early afternoon till the evening. Liburnia Jazz Festival can announce a total of 16 concerts on 6 stages in only 3 days.

The exhibition "TOURIST POSTER in Croatia" organized by Croatian Museum of Tourism - Opatija will present 44 tourist posters intended to provide only a short section of 20th&21st century production, and show them as examples of contemporary graphic design. The exhibition will be held at the Art Pavilion''Juraj Sporer''in Opatija
Opening hours: Every day, except Monday, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Admission is free.
