1st of May Celebration

The Veprinac is organizing traditional celebration of the 1st May, with a free serving of beans, and music by the Lovran Wind Orchestra and the band Maestral.

Opening of Gallery Varuna

Gallery Varuna begin its work with an exhibition and performance "Post-mortem high fashion" by the Rijeka artist Tajči Čekada.

First Opatija School of Glagolitic script

In Veprinac will, from 16th to 18th September, take place a brief course of old Croatian script at place "Pod ložun". Organizer: Dept. of Chakavian Council Kornić . The Croatian Glagolitic alphabet has a long and interesting history of more than a thousand years.
