Trio Forza, consisting of Ljubov Judčenko Košmerl as a soprano, Goran Prša on clarinet and saxophone and Dražen Košmerl on accordion, was formed in 2013. Trio nurtures classical music, as they perform works from the baroque to contemporary music, of both world music literature and domestic composers. This unique blend of instruments and vocals give a tone of new and unusual colours to the music.

Since 1996 Music Society Spinčići organizes an International Festival of Brass Orchestras. Besides the ones from Croatia, the festival also hosted orchestras from Italy, Slovenia, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic and Austria. Visiting orchestras traditionally open the festival by performing through the boroughs of Kastav. That is followed by a procession through the streets of Kastav and an opening ceremony in which all the orchestras perform together. Finally, every orchestra performs independently a short repertoire.
