Mandrać 2017, an international competition of painters

International competition painter Mandrać decades represents the most valuable in art - the very act of creation, accomplished before the eyes of visitors and fellow artists. It is the "ex tempore" painting contest, in which works of art are created "on the spot" and that's why every year the ropes numerous artists and exudes an atmosphere of creativity. The event lasts two days - the first day images of children under 14 years, and one day gather their older colleagues, divided into amateur and professional group. The best works realized prizes, and the whole event concludes interesting concert performance on stage in Voloski port.

Night of Museums 2016

Topic of the Night of Museums 2016 is: the founders and reformers. Croatian Museum of Tourism has prepared a story about Paul Kupelwieser, the Austrian entrepreneur, who in the late 19th century, transformed the island of Brijuni. His great-nephew, Hans Kupelwieser, is one of the leading Austrian artists of today who specializes in painting, sculpture, installation and architecture, and experiments exchange media.

Exhibition of Sinisa Majkus - opens Galerijica Matulji

Opening of the Sinisa Majkus exhibition is also the opening of the first Matulji's gallery. Organizor and presenter is the art historian Vana Gović, curator of the Memorial Museum Lipa remembers.

After the opening, Galerijica will work every day from 10 to 12 and 17 to 19 hours, and on Saturdays from 10 to 12 hours.

Mandrać 2015

Seit Jahrzehnten präsentiert der internationale Malwettbewerb Mandrać das wertvollste der Kunst – den schöpferischen Akt selbst, der direkt vor den Augen der Besucher und der anderen Künstlerkollegen zur Schau gestellt wird. Es handelt sich dabei um einen „ex tempore“ Malwettbewerb, bei dem Kunstwerke „vor Ort“ kreiert werden und deren schöpferische Atmosphäre jedes Jahr zahlreiche Künstler nach Volosko lockt. Die Veranstaltung dauert zwei Tage – am ersten Tag malen Kinder bis 14 Jahre, und am zweiten Tag treten ihre erwachsenen Kollegen in zwei Gruppen (Amateure und Professionelle) auf. Die besten Kunstwerke werden mit wertvollen Preisen prämiert, und die Veranstaltung endet mit einem Konzert im kleinen Hafen von Volosko.

Every Tuesday during the summer, in front of the hotel Milenij, the Liburnia Classic Club from Opatija will await the guests with five historic vehicles to take them for a free 25-minute ride around Opatija. A sightseeing tour of sorts with the pleasure of riding in a historic vehicle that nowadays presents a rarity. The guests of Opatija may enjoy this offer in the period from 7:30 p.m. till 10 p.m.
