Jelena Azinović was born in Zagreb in 1986 where she finished elementary and secondary school. In 2005 she entered the undergraduate study of sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts of the University of Zagreb. In 2009 she continued her education by entering the graduate study program at the same university. She received MA in 2011 in the class of professor Miro Vuco. She received scholarships from the city of Zagreb in 2007/2008 and 2008/2009 as well as the Top scholarship for top students in 2010.

Monika Meglić
Monika Meglić was born in Zagreb in 1987. In 2005 she matriculated from the School of Applied Arts and Design in Zagreb. The same she year enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts. In 2009 she received bachelor's degree diploma in painting, and a year later she earned Master's degree in the class of professor Duje Jurić. Participates in numerous art projects in the field of the mosaics and stained glass. Since 2011 she is a member of the HDLU.

Music Society Spinčići organizes the International Wind Orchestra Festival since 1996. Throughout the years many orchestras from Italy, Slovenia, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria and Croatia have participated on the festival. The festival traditionally begins with a performance by the visiting orchestras in various areas of Kastav, followed by a parade through the streets of Kastav, opening ceremony with a joint performance by all the orchestras and finally a short concert program of each of the orchestras.

Kastav Film Festival is an international film festival taking place in the city of Kastav during summer. The festival was launched in 2009. The notion of the project is to open public spaces and to promote freedom of expression by ensuring the showing of every received film, without selection. In 2010 the second edition of the festival was organized, with much improvement in the technical area. The third edition was followed with the festival Manifesto, which finally set the ideological frame of activities. The Manifesto had a lot of success in the international filmography world, which resulted in a large number of films from european and other countries. The fourth edition of the festival introduced music concerts, and the positive energy is expected to continue this year, in which the festival will expand on 4 locations throughout 3 days.

From 17 to 20 in Idičina bakery Kastav - "Friday at five in PEKNJICA" - women in honor. In the 18:00 in a coffee bar in the Lodge Kastav will be an exhibition of Vesna Frank. "To our Women", is the name of the exhibition of photographs by Branko Jani Kukurin which will be opened at 19:00 in Kastav Atelier Pavic.
