X DAY

Extreme sports festival to be held in Opatija on the beach Slatina from 11 to 13.05.2012. In addition to sports it will be a rich music program. The event titled X Day presents an opportunity to enjoy 6 extreme sports: wingsuit, skydiving, snowboarding, BMX/MTB, underwater fishing and jet ski.

Flower Festival Opatija 2012

Exhibitors, flowers and horticultural cultivators, will gather at the Flower Festival Opatija 2012, which will be held in Opatija Slatina from Friday, 19th to Sunday, 22th of April.

3D mapping festival Opatija

Opatija will host the first 3D multimapping on buildings in Croatia and this part of Europe - a visual animation will "revive" the hotels in the center of Opatija (Slatina), which will, with additional sound effects provide superior experience for two hours.

Summer fair Opatija

Until Tuesday, 26th of July at the Slatina is open The Summer fair of souvenirs. Every day until midnight with free entry there is wide offer of Croatian producers. 2nd Fireworks Festival Opatija

Opatija will for the second time host the Fireworks Festival . On Saturday, 25th of June, the sky above Opatija will again witness the spectacular creations of top Croatian fireworks designers .This year the audience will in just one evening be able to enjoy four spectacular fireworks, which will be launched at intervals of thirty minutes, from pontoons located on the sea infront Opatija Slatina. Audiences will be able to enjoy catering services and the entertainment program which will begin at 21:00 with the band Lady Luna.

The exhibition "Sea as a canvas"

Exhibition of large format photographs on the promenade Slatina, Opatija from 17th to 24th of June 2011 is aimed at the Croatian public and to all its guests to draw attention to social responsibility and the constant value of promoting environmental preservation and the sea.It is estimated that previous year, through the four summer months, in fifteen Croatian cities, this exhibition with the theme of underwater, have seen more than one million people.
