The concert is a part of the manifestation The Summer Nights in Rijeka (Riječke Ljetne Noći). The concert will take place at Grivica Square (Trg Grivica) in front of St.Vid’s cathedral in Rijeka, and it's special for the "Belfast Food", band from Rijeka, since they are celebrating 15 years of existence. Ticket price is 60.00 kn (with a purchased ticket you get a coupon for Hirter beer).

The official opening of the "6th Gradina Summer" begins the moment when Oliver sang the first note of some of their own, but all recognizable, iconic songs. In his rich musical opus, Oliver has more than 40 albums, on which there are many memorable hits. All these are compelling reasons to come to this spectacle, in which Oliver will sing in a beautiful, historic setting, surrounded by walls Trsatske ruins!. Tickets can be purchased in a TIC in the Corso Rijeka, and Fortunal Zamet restaurant, coffee bar, "Gradina", and through kiosks. Ticket price is 150.00 kn to 180.00 kn.

8th Mediterranean Cup, the international handball tournament for children and youth, organized by the Handball Club "Matulji 2001" will take place from Sunday 19th June to Friday 24th June. The tournament will take place in Rijeka in the Sports Centre Zamet, Hall Mladost Trsat, Hall Kantrida and Matulji. At this year's tournament will compete over 900 girls and boys from around 50 teams from Norway, Czech, Slovakia, Slovenia and Croatia. The final match will be played in Hall Center "Zamet" in Rijeka on Friday, the 24th of June from 8:00 to 17:00, when one of Croatian "golden" handball players will give a medals to the most successful handball teams.
