The competition, in the form of the show, taking place from 10th of June to 4zh of September 2011 in 37 tourist destinations. 8th Mediterranean Cup, the international handball tournament for children and youth, organized by the Handball Club "Matulji 2001" will take place from Sunday 19th June to Friday 24th June. The tournament will take place in Rijeka in the Sports Centre Zamet, Hall Mladost Trsat, Hall Kantrida and Matulji. At this year's tournament will compete over 900 girls and boys from around 50 teams from Norway, Czech, Slovakia, Slovenia and Croatia. The final match will be played in Hall Center "Zamet" in Rijeka on Friday, the 24th of June from 8:00 to 17:00, when one of Croatian "golden" handball players will give a medals to the most successful handball teams.

On Saturday, June 18th, organized by AK Ri Autosport Rijeka will be held this year's first race of the Croatian Championship TSD Auto Rally. The competition called "2nd Kvarner TSD auto rally 2011" consists of driving itinerary and five specific skills which exams will be held at the Cultural Centre Cavle on the training ground next to the paddock. The competition begins on Saturday at 9.00, with scrutineering and verification of participants, and the start of the first crew is scheduled for 12.01. Announcement of results and awards ceremony will be held at 17:00 in the Cultural Centre Cavle.

Perfectly blended in the Opatija scenary, you will enjoy the 2nd Liburnia Classic Rally organized by Liburnia Classic Club. Meeting is in Opatija, gathering from 8:00 to 9:30 at the Opatija port. Start is at 10.00 and leads through Liburnia (Opatija Opatija-Matulji Učka-Vele Mune-Veprinac). There will be two tests of accuracy (at karting track Preluk and historic rally track Matulji Učka) and a test of skill.

On Sunday, 12 June 2011. , at 15:00, will be held 7th Aeromiting Rijeka over the beach "Ploce" in front Kantrida. Training flights take place in the morning, while pre-program begins with landing of paratroopers and flying group "Wings of Kvarner", then in the afternoon followed by an official part of the program largely characterized by acrobatic flights of top domestic and foreign pilots. With a top flight program, for visitors are organized and panoramic flights to Grobnik field at a promotional price.
