LADO - Croatian Ensemble of Traditional Dances and Song

The Croatian Ensemble of traditional dances and song Lado will perform in Kastav on 5th July.

LADO has received many awards and recognition for its work as well as merit for its preservation of Croatia’s national heritage and artistic creation. In August 2002, LADO represented Europe at the 6th World Symposium on Choral Music in Minneapolis, USA. Since 2000, LADO has won 14 Porin Awards (Croatian Grammy), including one for life achievement (2002), The City of Zagreb Award (2002), the Orlando award at the 54th Dubrovnik Summer Festival (2003) and the Ivan Lukačić award at the 34th Varaždin Baroque Evenings (2004). LADO also received INA’s 2006 Annual Award for promotion of Croatian culture in the world.
