Summer night concerts in Villa Astra - Spart Jazz Trio

Spart Jazz was founded by Spartaco Črnjarić in 2009.

The idea was to bring together musicians who will perform mainstream jazz. It operates in the formation from duo to quintet and it has hosted lot of great musicians, mostly from the wider Rijeka region.

Spart Jazz performed at various jazz stages, at festivals such as Jazz Liburnija and Crescendo, the festival of fireworks (as part of the Day of Opatija)… Permanent members are guitarist Spartaco Črnjarić and singer Astrid Kuljanić.

For the concert in Villa Astra they will host renowned double bassist Henry Radanović. Spartaco Črnjarić is also composing, so the program will consist of his compositions, jazz standards, bossa nova, and evergreens.
