The renowned violinist Francesco Squarcia and Rijeka's pianist Nina Kovačić shall truly give us a bright pearl necklace of music with their performance. Among others, the repertoire shall consist of Brahm's Hungarian dance no. 5, Astor Piazzola's Ave Maria and Miroslav Miletić's Monolog. A string of other musical pearls includes works by Giuseppe Tartini, Albinoni, Dvořak, Massenet, Rossini and others.
Rijeka born violinist Francesco Squarcia has been a regular member of the prominent symphony orchestra Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome. He is also known as the founder of instrumental ensemble I Cameristi Italiani with which he performed the premiere of Miroslav Miletić's Concerto grosso for viola and strings at the Osor musical evenings.
Pianist Nina Kovačić has been performing throughout her career, both in Croatia and abroad, establishing herself as a soloist in recitals or accompanied by orchestras.
