FIJET Board of Directors Meeting

Day 3 – 24 May 2011

- 09:00 – Depart by coach towards Opatija. (The coach rides across the country – from the north-east Croatian plains to the south-west Adriatic Sea with a lunch en route at Fužine.
- 16:00 – Arrive at Opatija (Opatija is a 160-years old tourist resort famous even during the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
- Check into the hotel and overnight.

Day 4 – 25 May 2011

- Guided walking tour of Opatija followed by a boat cruise after lunch.
- Gala dinner with dignitaries (The mayor, tourism representatives and Fijet colleagues – at the Kvarner Hotel, the oldest one in Croatia.

Day 5 – 26 May 2011

- Board and EC meeting at the hotel followed by a lunch.
- 15:00 – Depart for a tour of Istria (this is the most western Croatian region and is compared to Tuscany or Provence.)
- Visit the picturesque town of Rovinj (Guided walking tour followed by a dinner of our hosts.
- Return to the hotel for overnight.

Day 6 – 27 May 2011

- 09:00 – Depart for a tour of Istria which includes the Euphrasius Basilica (UNESCO’s World Heritage Site) in Poreč and a lunch at one of the agrotourism properties.
- 16:00 – Depart towards Zagreb
- Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Zagreb.

Day 7 – 28 May 2011

- Departure to Zagreb Airport for the flights home.
