Petar KÜRSCHNER: ALCHEMY OF OPATIJA @ opatija.net

March 31st 2009 - at 1:44 AM has been opened the virtual exhibition "Alchemy of Opatija" by Peter Kürschner on the portal www.opatija.net.

Exhibition can be seen every day from 0:00-24:00.

Petar Kürschner jr., freelance photographer, based in Opatija, Croatia, graduated in Munich SAE Institute in Germany. He worked in more than 600 projects as tonmeister, sound engineer, director & organiser in all possible, impossible and extreme circumstances in field, theatre, concerts, television, cd production, etc.

He works for the international press agency Action Press, German agency Teamwork Press & German/French/Hungarian agency Est-Ost photo. His work has been published in Der Spiegel, Gloss, Gala Style, Livingstone, Amazon.com, Art.com, & numerous other publications such as calendars, postcards, catalogues, posters, advertising, etc.

A photograph is a secret about a secret. To photograph truthfully and effectively is to see beneath the surfaces and record the qualities of nature and humanity which live or are latent in all things. Some photographers take reality... and impose the domination of their own thought and spirit. Others come before reality more tenderly and a photograph to them is an instrument of love and revelation.
There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer.
