September 2010.
6th Croatian Congress of Pharmacology with International Participation will be held in Opatija on September 15-18, 2010. The scientific program will include plenary lectures, symposia and round table sessions and will be presented by eminent scientists from Croatia and abroad. Experienced and young researchers will have an opportunity to present their most recent results in the field of preclinical and clinical pharmacology and in all other related areas during the poster sessions. The Croatian Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices (HALMED) will also participate with an HALMED-Info-Day and workshops concerning pharmacovigilance for the responsible persons in pharmaceutical companies, but also for all other interested professionals.

Croatian Amateur Radio Association organizes the 15th World ARDF (Amateur radio direction finding) Championships in Opatija. The First ARDF World Championships for the Blind are also being held during the same week in Opatija.

The Congress is organized by the Croatian Pharmaceutical Society in conjunction with the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry, University of Zagreb, and the Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices of the Republic of Croatia. The organizers will try to design the scientific and professional programme of the Congress so as to include interesting lectures by invited international and domestic speakers, as well as a number of poster presentations.
