Forum for the exchange of experience and expertise in the field of preparedness and response to accidental marine oil pollution in Opatija.
The Ministry of Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Croatia offered its support to the Conference, and a number of relevant international organizations and institutions such as IMO, REMPEC, EMSA, IOPC Funds, Cedre, ITOPF etc. also expressed their interest and confirmed their participation in it.

Croatian president Ivo Josipovic and his Serbian counterpart Boris Tadic will meet today in Opatija to renew dialogue at the highest level. President Josipovic will greet Tadic at the airport on the island of Krk and by ship arrive to Opatija. The meeting starts at 13:00, and Press Conference is planned at 15:00.
